Bombers Focused and on Target

EP Sweeps Saddle Brook

Updated Monday October 17, 2016 by Richard Mucci.

The Elmwood Park Bombers were on target this past weekend at home against Saddle Brook acquiring wins in PeeWees, Juniors and Seniors.  The morning air was cool and crisp with barely a cloud in the sky and there was no better way to start a great day of football in October than this past Sunday. The warming sun began to rise higher on the impeccable turf field as the games and afternoon developed just before the Homecoming ceremonies had taken place.  It was perfect.

Some of the football players and cheerleaders that took part in the Senior Homecoming ceremony have been with the Bombers organization for close to a decade, however, there were many other young athletes that walked onto the center field with their parents, family and friends this past Sunday that may not have been here as long as others but equally know the long lasting sense of tradition and family focus the organization passionately bestows upon all those that pass through its doors.

We are football. We are cheer. We are friends. We are family. We are the Elmwood Park Bombers. For all of the Senior athletes that will continue their progression beyond the EP Bombers in life, education and sports come next season, we wish you nothing but the best of luck in your endeavors and that we are not only grateful for having you take part, we will always welcome you with open arms.  Best of luck Seniors and congrats on a great game this weekend!
